The Center for Women and Enterprise will be hosting a workshop about Starting a Small Business on November 19th at 6PM in The Nest.
If you are planning to start a business or are in the early stages of launching one, this session is for you to:
- Get ideas to develop your business vision and planning
- Consider your legal structure
- Discuss choosing a name and entity
- Learn where to look for help to obtain an employer identification number, licenses, permits and insurance
You’ll leave with a clear idea of the resources and immediate next steps you can take to start your business journey.
These workshops will be hosted by organizations such as E for All, the Center for Women and Enterprise, Nichols College, the Latin American Business Organization, SCORE, and the Webster-Dudley Business Alliance.
The Nest was supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and seperate grant funding from The Janet Malser Humanities Trust.
